I don't think many of us here fit into any of those categories specifically. There's a little weirdo in all of us. Other than that, any other connection is is obscure at best. Even most of our newbies don't come in here all that timidly.

It's hard to say since this forum is a monoculture in many aspects. And we're all weird to a degree, or we wouldn't enjoy our time here.

There does seem to be a bit of a "popular" group, but it doesn't seem as vicious nor exclusive as the one described. They're nice. They are characterized only (well, mostly) by high post counts.

I think everyone here is a weirdo. I don't know about the rest of you, but I only hang out with weirdos...

Yeah... (as you said, most.) There are the rare few that do... but they tend to warm up pretty quickly.

I don't really see those dynamics here. It seems everyone pretty much likes (or hates if you're one of the evil ones -- you know who you are ) everyone equally which I think is pretty cool.

Armchair Philosophers (of course this could be any of us from time to time.)

Yes those are good categories. However, I think we would all rebel, if anyone other than our selves stuck us in any category.
Yet "We' seem to have a fascination with social categories, with types, with rankings etc.. I think a lot of us are free-thinking individuals and in day to day life we don't fit into any of "Their" categories....
I mean a person can go quite a long time without actually meeting another INTx in person, even then two or three isn't enough to form a category (or even a decent 'gang')
