Hello, fellow INTPs !

I am very glad, or should I say, interested to know there is such a thing as INTP and MBIT personality system. I am surprised at how the MBIT can be accurate (especially in my case, which INTP apply perfectly.)
I confused myself as a INFJ at first (for one specific emotional crisis I used to have) but reading about the carelessness of INTPs really made it cleared. Every single fact about them is accurate to describe me.

So, you know how it is, after dedicating the last previous days to reads here and there, multiple tests, videos about INTPs and MBITs, I decided to register here so I can still drown in this new thing until I suddenly get enough of it and leave, probably never to be seen again.

Myself, quickly :

- Canada
- French as a native language
- Archaeology student

Thanks/Merci ! :)

Oh, I don't know... I'd rather go saying what I am not into. Modern politics is one thing I hardly ever think/talk about, but for the rest.. no real preference.

What specific area of archaeology are you interested in? I've got a thing for local pre-colonial Native American stuff (Monongahela and Eastern shore --> Great Lakes Ojibwe migration, specifically).

Do you share my love of ancient garbage pits?

And uh... hi.

*EDIT: "An unhealthy disgust of chaos.." Oh my... :o

My main field of interest is focused more on the ancient world than America. middle and upper paleolithic timelines (not totally sure if that's how these categories are named in english), dispersion of sapiens out-of-africa-model, throughout Asia and Europe, migration to America, pre-neolithic in middle-east (as every archaeologist I'd bet..)

The classic stuff for now. I haven't yet reach a deep specialization level as I barely started at the anthropology bachelor's level.

If I want any room in the research field, I'll probably have to get a thesis related to America colonisation, as it the main field canadian universities cover/have legit access to.
Or I could study somewhere else. Not sure yet, barely started.

My wildest dreams would involve taking part in the investigation related to homo floresiensis in Indonesia, but this sector is/will be managed by a few chosen elite researchers. As local mythos report sighting of small humanoid barely 300 years ago, it's just something that keep me awake at night sometimes.

"An unhealthy disgust of chaos.." Oh my... :o
Yeah lol..
That's mostly OCD about my own inner person, not the typical tidy-freak OCD. Depending on what I focus on, what I put my interest on, I can either feel like dirty, covered with a filthy chaos, or a neat and monochrome order. My interests needs to fit together, or meet up at some point, or else something feels wrong.

Quilting history, then?
Google couldn't help me on this.. what does it mean ? :D
All I found was the thing where you attach square of cloth together...
