I don't know how to start this.

English is not my first language, so my sentences sometimes might not make sense and/or have horrible grammar. But I try to do my best, but hopefully withouth trying too much to be perfect, because theres a huge discrepancy for me between reading and writing in English, somewhere in my head I can write in an eloquent way, because I've read so much stuff in English, but due to lack of practise and knowledge in English grammer, I can't transform it into reality.

Writing in this forum here will probably help to lower this issue. Besides that I think a lot of people here think in a similar way as me. As this is a rather rare case for me in reality, I thought I should give it a try and register here.

I'm from Switzerland and I still go to school, I'm in a complex situation, translating this so someone of a foreign country understands it is a bit complicated, not impossible but I'm just too lazy for that now.

I used to play a lot of hockey, but now I use sport just as a kind of compensation, and to stay healthy, because sport, besides hockey bores the hell out of me.

My only hobbies now are reading and gaming. Mostly RTS and RPG games, although I try to quit gaming, because it makes me feel like I'm just in a hamster wheel and that I don't fully enjoy it and it keeps me from doing things that really make me happy. I don't like to read novels, but newspapers, philosophy books and generally everything on the internet that is somewhat related to philosophy, like politics but not members of parties, but concepts, how they develop, etc.

Usually I don't participate in such discussions, which I find sad, but is also symptomatic of my unproductive nature, just caught in my own head, and too afraid or too lazy to get out and give my own thoughts a better chance to develop.

Does this sound depressing?

No, but it does give away that your environment isn't the most stimulating...

I hope we can cure some of your boredom.

This place is full of characters if you look deep enough. Some days are slow, some are... more demanding.
