Hi fellow INTPs

I've come across an interest group on Meetup that is based on MBTI. Currently there are a mix of personality types in that groups and the participation rate is quite good.

I encourage you guys to sign up and come out to meet different types. There are lots of INFJs which is a golden partnership material for us, there's an ENTP and myself INTP.

I would also like to meet some of you INTP ladies.

I'm in Melbourne but I'm afraid I'm too cool to meet up with a group that self-identifies as 'MBTI' enthusiasts. You'll have to make sure that whatever event that gets organised isn't listed as an 'MBTI group' catchup and instead call it something edgy like, 'hektik lad hangout'.

This superficial change in name will allow me to wear my bright yellow Adidas tracksuit and Everlast cap backwards, tilted at 45° degree angle so as to not ruin my sik muzztek haircut. Also there needs to be at least a 50% ratio of ethnic to not-ethnic looking people, as I need to keep up appearances with my mafioso family that I'm not 'turning white' (or asian). We must talk about only manly things like concreting, women, cigarettes and cars.

If you can agree to these terms and conditions, I'll grace your meetups hektik hangouts with my presence. Otherwise I fear I'm too much of a sik kunt for these events.

Remember not to call it a meetup. 'Meeting up' is what gay people do, and gay people are dangerous.

It would be cool to meet another INTP person and see how much we are alike, despite cultural differences and up bringing and interests.

You should consider it at least once in your lifetime to seek out another person with your MBTI.

I've got two irl INTP friends I knew long before I learned about MBTI, and I have my son who oddly turned out to be an INTP. My kid and I get along swimmingly, probably because he's rather developed as an INTP (which is interesting as he's still developing as a person), having learned so much about it from us, and so not having to go through the painful 'why am I different', or 'what should I do with myself' and such phases. My friends are a little more frustrating because they don't care about MBTI, and so are making classic INTP type mistakes.

Oh well, I'm on the North side of the planet anyhow.

Great to see that my fellow INTPs are at least interested.

I posted the same thing on the INTJ forum, the repsonses are bleak...

They all think I am profiling and secretly plotting to get them. Particularly when I expressed interest to meet some INTJ women, went horribly wrong.

We see potentials and explore them, they see dead ends...

More importantly we INTPs like to see the sik kunt side of others and learn from them, adapt and evolve and morph into them in social situations to be on top of the social game. We tend to ignore and not judge their shit kunt side, as long as they have a sik kunt side.

INTJs seem to want to measure other's shit kunt side and reject you as a whole, even though you can be a sik kunt in other fields. Some of them guard themselves to the teeth, and only show their best side to appear high value, and then walks away like they are unobtainable to mind fuk you to believe you are not good enough for them. In fact they are afraid you might hurt them. They are afraid that others may find their weakness and exploit it.

yes I was keen to meet up even 1 on 1 with that INTJ didnt know she wasn't single. But I did tell her that I wasn't into someone already in a relationship.

She accused me of being desperate, then I attempted to explain why I was keen to meet INTJ female from past experiences. Not trying to just root her, but seriously probing to see a prospect of a relationship. Trying to show her that I have other options for roots and dont need to actually flying interstate to meet her just for that.

She started accusing me of things and I slammed her with logic. She can't objectively see things as they are, and started twisting the facts I presented. I felt like there wasn't any way to explain myself properly to someone I couldn't reason with, so it just all went to hell.

Yes I said things without reserve or tact, but neither was she.

To be fair I don't think anyone would somehow become MORE enthusiastic about a 1v1 meetup with a stranger upon them saying, "it's not about sex, it's about serious probing."
