Hello. Apparently INTPcentral is down today, which prompted me to google other possible forums. Besides, I wasn't really in fitting into any of the cliques there at INTPcentral, more or less.

In the process of googling this site, I stumbled upon some YouTubes and INTP video blogs. I identified positively with some of the things people said in their blogs. It reaffirmed what it means for me to be an INTP. Thus, I also decided to join here and see what it's like.

Currently I make fish.

Yes, I guess. I operate a fish hatchery with selective breeding. Therefore, I choose the parents, inject with hormones, control the lighting, put on music, etc.

Well this is just my job. The office determines pricing and marketing. The fish are generally expensive, but there are probably over 600 different prices depending, on quality, size, who you are, etc.

For the second part, I'm not sure that I understand you. We have a program to hopefully anticipate the market and produce certain things. However, we don't breed something for one person, unless you are a major company creating a market.

I'm not sure you mean "cause of death" or "cash on delivery", and if I could figure out which phrase, I'm not sure that I could figure out the implications. There are some possibilities. Perhaps you can elucidate.

Ah, maybe he's asking the "cause of death" of INTPcentral. It's not dead. They are redo-ing some background databases or something. Is that what you were asking, EyeSeeCold?

I am a little taken aback that, in this day and age, anyone can see the acronym COD without immediately thinking "Call of Duty".

Also, welcome. Fish breeding sounds somewhat cool but also like it could get pretty boring.

Ah, true. However, having a boring job allows me time to think. It can get boring, but there is a certain artistry to it. Still, it can be quite "STJ", so I see your point.

The worst job for me is probably one where it would cause severe injury if I were lost in my own thoughts.

Awesome. Some people who've posted had the same name at both forums. I see MacGuffin has an intro thread here from before. I wonder what peoples' names were at the other place...the ones who have different name.

Perhaps INTPc being down for a few days is good in the sense that we meet other people and venture out. Maybe I need to do some chores irl too. Perhaps...even...talk to live persons...out there.

I'm feel a bit stir crazy... The farm here is isolated!

I had a different name here originally. As I do on all forums. But had help to change this one back to something recognizable as I felt crips wasn't ready to go six feet under just yet.

You bring up a good point. When I got banned(first time ever) I realized how attached I was to a forum. I agree with the talk to someone out there thing. One can bury one self in imagination. I doubt that can last.
