Introductions are Necessary

Just putting this out there: it took me three days of digging through this site and clicking a bunch of links to figure out how to post what I now know is called a thread.

Needless to say, I've never joined a forum before. I might make a few "noobie" mistakes on this forum from lack of knowledge about forum faux pas and whatnot. I'm apologizing in advance for whatever I may do.

I feel kind of on the spot introducing myself, even though you all can't even see my face. I mean, how do I start? I don't know what you care about.

I'm an INTP, hence me joining this forum. Also, despite my profile name, I am female.

Let's see, I like astronomy and physics, so I decided to major in it. I'm currently doing that...and the main reason I joined this forum was to procrastinate studying for finals. But I like it so far, and I plan to stick around after those end.

I'm also deeply interested in philosophy, psychology, the fine arts, and well...many other things I suppose.

So as a conversation starter, which type do you all think you get along with the best? I've noticed I get along very well with INTJs, and I think I would get along well with an INTP if I ever met one. Alas, I haven't yet made an INTP friend.

Welcome aboard and interesting choice of name, and picture to follow it. As for your location, I guess we're all in a room, born this way, it structures our way of thought.

Tell us some personal things about yourself so we all feel more open about each other!
(first name, age, weight, hair color, eye color, SSN#, ect...)

I'm on here now cause I don't feel like memorizing 8 million more things about the human body, A&P classes are fun.

Astronomy and physics, nice choices, learn the hows and whys of the magic of the celestial bodies.

As most/all INTPs, once we learn the depths of one area of study, we yearn to achieve the same amount from other areas of interest,.


This semester I've basically kept to the same group of girls I knew from the fall semester.

One's an INFP, we're both I's so we can get away and relax easily, but her main function is an Fi, so she enhances my limited little Fe function, but shes also too timid, doesn't like fast driving or risky moves, but a fast learner.

An ENFJ, yeah i'm striking out with the F's over here, but a cheerleader, talkative and like the other NF, we're both on the same level of intuition, so that seems to be why we flow well together.

I still talk to an ENTP/ENFP, shes a blast and fast, with intuition burning a hole in me, maybe that's what we INTPs mainly strive after someone with strong intuition, to keep us driven.

I know an INTJ too, but shes a bit too immature for my desire, but we do mesh on an instant level.


Who you get to meet and truly get close to/learn their personality/have them take a MBTI test, the more you're able to see what works well with you being natural, and what types you ebb away from.
I know the SFs are too mundane, the NFs are inquisitive little things, the NTs I do find we fly together, but we're also all so sporadic and less likely to get tied down to friendships like those with Fs.

The STs are a unique class and I don't know many in real life,.

INTJ here. I get along with most introverts, although working with IXXPs can be annoying if they're too scatterbrained and unorganized.

ENFXs are usually cool. Closest friend is an ENFJ. Roommate was an ENFP.

ESXPs suck and can go collectively die in a fire.

SJs are hit or miss.

Never met another INTJ that I can remember, but ENTJs are usually fun to scheme with.

I have lots of INTJ and INFP friends so they're my favorite types. INTP friends are weird but they're nice to be with as long as you don't offend them.
