Well I've been an fan for awhile, first heard Black holes and revelations album years before Twilight, thank you.
Just go hold of the new "2nd Law" album.
While... Its quite different and evolved.
Iits still clearly the muse.

Funny enough, got hold of Showbiz (First time hearing) at the same time.
Now I'm sitting listening to both... Quite a sstrange experience to hear a debut album and latest album for first time, together.

Anyway... I was curious to see if there are any fans who also happen to be INTP.
I also wonder if anyone would disagree with the guess that Matthew Bellamy might be an INTP himself?

I mean... Didn't really believe it myself. But then who goes and writes music inspired by the second law of thermodynamics?

I'm not sure if I like or detest songs that shamelessly cross-pollinate U2, 80s hair metal, Depeche Mode, Kings of Leon, Kraftwerk, 90s Radiohead, and Prince..."Madness," for example. :slashnew:

The leather jacket schick also seems Springsteenesque-phony but what do I know?

Honestly it sounds like the demotic schmaltz made popular by our mutual friends Chris Martin and Axl Rose. Sweet Child o' Mine! :D

I never really got into Muse. I liked some of their earlier stuff, but they seemed to get more boring and less experimental as they gained popularity.

Of course I can't say I've listened extensively as nothing has caught my ear yet, so I could be wrong. Maybe you could recommend some of your favourite tracks?

They have a SHAT load of unreleased and hidden tracks.
And bonus stuff... Like Futurism on Origin of Symmetry is pretty weird.
Again... Personal taste.
I dig electronic music. And who els plays with a custom guitar with a electro scratch pad?:D

My best friend (she's an INTP) absolutely loves Muse, but I've always agreed with snafu's view that their music is very derivative and generic. She also subscribes to the idea that one's personal enjoyment of art is the only thing that really matters about it, which I've always disagreed with.
