Any fans here?
This simply has to be one of the best games ever.
Since every character has such a short move list, while at the same time having an insane amount of depth, it is really all about making the best out of what you got.. because of this, playing mind games is almost everything in this game. I could go on and on with all the cool aspects, but if there is any fans here, I am sure you already know

I am a fairly decent sagat player. Before I tried the game, I had already set my mind up having sagat as a main.. and since then, about 2-300 hours of gameplay later, sagat is the only character I have played.

Which character do you use? why?

The last fighter game I played was Marvel vs. Capcom. I love that one. Street Fighter 2 Turbo for life!

there is something special with truly good fighting games Fighting against a friend/foe, seeing their face slowly turning red after constant rape...hearing their frustrated voice telling you how coward/lame/stupid you are haha, I enjoy winning so badly. I hate loosing too though. I guess that's why I practise so much at everything

Played this yesterday for the first time.
Was brutally raped by the boss on easy mode many times
I like that Abel character though.

I generally dislike streetfighter IV because of how mindnumbingly slow it is when compared to Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Chillidog with a side of fries (and a diet soda). Also I can't stand the 3-d graphics (spent years memorizing hit boxes), and then they made slight changes to Guiles moves (after playing him for years), They also nerfed Guiles combos and made him move a lot slower. I can't help but wish they went more in the direction of street fighter third strike. At least I still have Balrog.

My fluffy wii games just... don't compare. Gotta get my zelda on though.

I really love Bison. Just because... he is him. Perhaps it is his.... laugh. I didn't play enough to like any of the characters for technical reasons.......

I guess I'll go play some animal xing. *cries*

Sorry my reply came out a bit pretentious. To answer the question, I prefer Guile because he is the perfect defensive character because he always had really devestating combos (despite being defensive) for example if i were to fight Sagat I have to keep in mind that he is zone character which means he can control the field very well. and his combos while short will do serious damage, so basically stay slightly out of sweep range (down, heavy-kick) while dodging fireball traps. then it him with a light flash kick to get in close and stop him from spamming fireballs. Once your up close proceed to two light crouching punches/kicks to a standing heavy punch (careful not to lose charge) cancel into a sonic boom knee-dash into him and basically combo him into a wall. Once he's against the wall lay down heavy defensive game so that he's trapped.

I have recently purchased Street Fighter IV online and it runs perfect on my pc. Only problem is that I cannot save game in Street Fighter IV. Every time even if I manually save game, instead of using auto save, it wont save. I have to play the game from the starting every time.
