However, such topics are not those fit for public discourse, as they are merely realms of speculation, without academic references, so that personal experience is the only reference. Am I a person that can be trusted, so that one could place faith in the veracity of my personal experiences?
No but has that ever stopped you before?
I'm pretty sure a celebration of your 5000th post means you get to say whatever you please so I think you should do exactly that, say what you want to say regardless of how it may be received, which again is not unlike what you usually do, except this time you'll be asserting instead of defending or contradicting.
I would honestly be interested to read an explanation of how you think prayer should be done, after all I obviously don't know and an explanation from someone who believes so strongly in such things would carry a degree of weight in it's own context, I may even be curious enough to try and you never know, maybe a miracle of some sort will occur and I'll be forced to reconsider my beliefs.
Unlikely, but still.
Likewise the same "weight in it's own context" thing applies to my other suggestions as well, being someone who doesn't believe in heaven, hell, witches, demons or angles I have to confess I know nothing about them other than hearsay from the people who do so I would be interested to heard your particular perspective on them, I won't even argue it, I mean how could I argue about the nature of something I don't believe in?
Hmm, you may not want me to reconsider my beliefs
