I know this is slightly off topic, but "a wise man" once said that people developed small talk in fear that their mouths would grow shut if they didn't open them often enough.

Unless you are Schizoid I think small talk and deep discussion are both required components of any relationship.

It depends what you mean by small talk. ENFPs don't really do small talk but they're heaps sociable and entertaining as hell. It's small talk for it's own sake that I really have beef with, and that seems to be a dominant S specialty.
