I'm not in the state of accepting any type as of yet for the complicated intricacies of the interactions between personality, environment, and traits beyond both and the way in which type is deciphered through reflection obscures any reliable investigation. To avoid the problems in independent reflection I will be inquiring for anecdotes, so if you have any ideas, how is it that you would type me?

You're asking people to type you based exclusively on some forum posts - correct?

If so, you're doing it wrong.

What I will say is that I have noted your apparent interest in topics pertaining to the metaphysical. I may have that wrong, as you may have simply put forward such topics for the sake of the debate thread. However...

I have yet to come across a dominant / aux Ni user who doesn't have at the very least some passing interest in such topics. My ENTJ wife, for example, is a pragmatic machine - yet broach a subject like UFOs or paranormal stuff and she's at the very least heavily interested and often has something intelligent to add to the discussion.

Other INTJs I know are balls deep in these topics. The xNFJs I know (both I/E variants) are also interested, though they seem to go at it more from a philosophical bent than the more pragmatic 'what are the potential implications here'? approach of the xNTJs.

This may mean absolutely nothing. I am commenting only on my personal experiences, and the truth is I only know six or seven Ni users in total. All of them are, however, professionally confirmed... for whatever that may be worth.

Something to mull over, perhaps.

Interesting, I do enjoy exploring these kinds of ideas. I wouldn't put myself as a conspiracy theorist, at least with UFOs and such, I think I simply like delving into things that are so abstract that I can let my intuition roam free, which sounds very Ni and conspiracy-like in all honesty. But I would argue that Einstein, classic INTP did the same in his search for his groundbreaking theories of relativity. The thing is my Ni, if I use it is very Ne in the way that I use it, I collect as much data as possible, constantly, right now, and most of the time I have at least 20 tabs open if on the computer. An example of a theory, is one I came up with 2 years ago and was a theory on the creation of the universe through the properties of dimensions, not one intuition I had in that theory I'm yet to find out was wrong, and several significant theories and hypotheses were based on the intuitions I had prior obtaining the appropriate knowledge. The J is also incredibly misfitting, I am without a doubt a P, so you must understand my confusions.
My vultology describes me as Pi, but nothing else seems to fit, although I am confident my dominant is probably Ti. I don't use Ji, Je, or Pe vultological signals in communication, perhaps the occasional Ji, and rare Pe. Not sure about the results I just described yet, but it is misleading due to my normally complex thoughts. Complex thoughts being, I am constantly analyzing (not always analyzing specifically) multiple things at once in a way I can devote the necessary resources to a particular line of thought.

How do others perceive you?

My wife and I are mostly perceived as cold / distant.

The Ti dominants I know actually tend to be a great deal warmer to be around, and have a more obvious ability to 'do a person'.

My closest friend (again, professionally typed) is an INTP and he can be downright charismatic when the mood takes him. He has a very cheeky and playful demeanour to him when he's socialising. He can step into the flow of things for a period and really gel with people.

On the opposite side of the coin, I tend to be more rigid. You could definitely accuse me of having a rod up my arse 100% of the time. Typically I only tend to loosen up when I've got some potent drug or other in my bloodstream. Even in the company of the people I'm closest to.

I am very much like the friend you describe, although I can sometimes come off a little strange, I am good in most social situations and am only perceived cold at times by my father but in a charismatic way. I can switch between extroversion and introversion rather easily.

I do not make it obvious, although given the opportunity I will try to start something a little more fun and intellectual. If people know me as an intellectual , beyond my achievements, most of our conversations will be at least somewhat intellectual. I appropriate conversation to what they are familiar with and capable of understanding.

I like aesthetics and am not that serious. Most of my activity is a form of stimulating myself, and I see intellectual pursuits and thinking as one way to achieve this, which I do often. I am high energy, but use a lot of it to power my thoughts, and if not, extroversion, sport, etc.

I see arguments as a sort of intellectual stimulation, but would only argue with those familiar with that side of me.

XNTP. TiSi and NeFe loops when stressed, Ne behaviours suppressed by Ti but high energy. Watching that guy from criminal minds in an interview he is very much like me. Etc etc. Conclusion has been reached, I simply wasn't sure if I was Ni dominant, and social ability is due to weak introversion and developed Fe. Glad to finally reach a conclusion, it's hard to find consistent reliable descriptions of the functions and also test them through anecdotes. The Pi vultology people describe me as is misleading, I think it's Ti + ADD possibly. But, I'm gonna have to shoot myself in the head if this thing doesn't come to a conclusion
