Outside internet? I don't.

But if you live in a bigger place where they have gathering of nerds, like board games clubs, those might yield some compatible companions. I guess that's what fukkie meant.
I wouldn't recommend going solitary for too long as you might end up liking it too much and lose the ability to social completely. You also become weirder and weirder and the difference between you and others grows and finding "like minded" people become even more difficult.

Meetup.com groups - it's best to bring at least one friend along with you, but if you know nobody it's a great way to meet people outside of your small circle of friends by interests. It's going to be awkward mingling with strangers but at least you'll have one thing in common with everyone attending. Plenty of MBTI / Typology / Psychology related groups on there that hold regular meetings.

OkCupid - even though its primary purpose is dating, some people are looking for friends on there.

Craigslist "strictly platonic" section - for the more adventurous.

I generally meet people through other people. I have to get the ball rolling though, so when moving to a new city, I'll generally just throw myself into whatever social situation I can and see what comes of it.

Also, the Internet. I used to meet people of the opposite gender through dating apps and whatnot. Not anymore though.

Also, sporting groups and whatnot. I've done a lot in the way of martial arts over the years and met some pretty interesting people through it.

Also, I often become friends over time with people I see on a regular basis. Examples include baristas, butchers, and the like.

Also, this forum. My IRL friends from here are some of my favourite people.
