Seriously though, have you considered that you're an INFP?
Remember that the T-F distinction is not a measure of intelligence.

Then again I'm practically schizoid so perhaps it's perceptual bias.

I want to make this very clear. Just because one has a preference toward thought, does not mean that they are emotionless robots...

Remember: Thinkers are merely inferior in that aspect. Emotionally immature, actually. I learned this from being with an INFP for 6 years.

Look, all of us have feelings. We are not robots or cyborgs. Give up on that idea. It's fictitious. Has your heart ever been broken? It's common sense guys. Idealism is the feeler trait, not being devoid of feelings.

My Fe is very low, btw.

What are your thoughts?

Of course we're not emotionless robots. We just have different approach to emotions. And it does not have to be that we're emotionally immature... only that we approach reality from thinking function, and not feeling function... I think we should balance all the functions, and I think it is possible to do...

Well, yes...I'm currently bothered by that F/T axis. Thinkers aren't necessarily cold and have rude humor. Making fun and/or criticizing people is very unappealingly disturbing in my opinion. Feelers aren't necessarily nice either. But when I do look at my face in the mirror, I see a lack of emotion...somehow almost robotic; emotion is sort of an "on and off switch".

Exactly, that is the whole point of using this to help ourselves. I won't lie, I am unbalanced as fuck, especially after all the recent tragedy in my life. But one becomes a more perfect person when they are 50/50 on all traits, and can swing any way at any time.

Thanks :)

Purity has its own strengths. Concentration of using only one function may perhaps be more efficient. Can we live well with only 2 functions? possibly...

Very good point. I have found that being too INTP can be incredibly lonely. Living a typelife is fun at first...but parties are never fun if you're the only one there.

Even though I still score INTP on ever fucking test, knowing that about myself, has actually made me a HIGHLY effective extravert when need be. It's all mind power.

Just never use your type as an excuse in the real world. No one buys it...I was foolish and tried to use it to save my job once. Not only did they not understand, it just made them think I was even creepier.

I'm just saying, type is only important here. In the real world, being yourself isn't always the greatest idea, you know?

Maybe I've changed. I'll have to post here more and see.

Edit: to be honest, I owe myself the mental vacation, and that's why I appeared out of nowhere again!

from tests... i am assuming its what you value more... like i value intelligence because i find my emotions a trouble that i want to get rid of. to feel heartbreak and balh blah blah. wish i could only brighten up not realize that i have an infatuation and i am screwed because everything will turn irrational.

I've found I can act as though I'm extremely extroverted - I just need time to wind down afterwards. Everyone at school thinks I'm very friendly.. just very wierd sometimes. It's the only way I can get through the day.

It's not so much what you value, as what you favour subcontiously. Your values won't necessarily align with how you are...
No matter how much I idolize decisiveness and confidence, I'll still struggle making my own mind up.
