Pressure at work has made me consider quitting due to my boss (June 2015 at the latest). I can tolerate the workload but not considering my office staff's and my well-being is just too much.
Anyways I'm thinking of the following routes (note that my goal is to migrate to a country that has meritocracy as one of its strong points)
1. getting overseas blue collar job - Fastest way out of the country but at the cost of lack of expertise and probably not using my INTPness to its fullest extent.
2. getting a job on the same field - Fastest way to get a job. However, being in the same boat as my boss is a bit problematic. Low chances of migration too since my trade is too academic and too arcane for normally required immigrant jobs.
3. getting a job on a different field - Probably my currently preferred route. A friend wants me to join his IT company although said company will give me a test first. If I pass, I can get to work with foreign clients and a chance to work overseas. I'm practically itching to find whether my attitude and skills are world class. Needing time to train in said field is a slight problem though.
4. making a business - Fastest way to improve income IMO. I'll probably need to polish my networking skills for this to work though. No idea how having a business can help me migrate aside from having "show money".
