I did at first believe I was an INTJ, until I really started to see the functions.
INTJ is Ni Te Fi and Se
INTP is Ti Ne Si and Fe
Type follows functions, and not vice-versa. Type is more of an approximation of the assortment of functions which most inform your worldview and which you use often and skillfully.
Is Te not all about being a leader?
Negative. A lot of the time it's about being a douchebag.
Is Se not all about motor skills?
It's about direct engagement with the external object as it is, and not abstraction of the object (Si).
I have weak motor skills, so that could be a sign that I am an INTJ.
By that logic, INTPs should actually have weaker motor skills, since they don't have Se in the top 4 at all.
But I recognize also INTP traits like overthinking.
I'm pretty sure both INTs overthink stuff.
I like to read (I want to know knowledge just to know it)
Ti is more aimless and Te more directed toward a goal.
I can spot pattern (that is Ne, or I am wrong here?)
Both Ni and Ne are much about pattern recognition in the abstract (it's what makes Intuitives Intuitives)...but I find Ni to be rather more dogmatic, almost schizophrenic, in its pattern discernment.
As intelligence necessarily overlaps much with memory, and as INTs are in general the two most intelligent types per our assumed understanding of intelligence, memory should be no object in distinguishing between the two.
I think Si just facilitates the recall of abstracted sensory data, whereas Ni facilitates recall of past Intuitive impressions one has experienced.
