I've been looking around, and I've been wondering which personality types have forum sites like this.
Of course, the question that follows would be why some of them do, some don't.
Or, what are the general trends for all of those personality forums.
One more thing: which personality type has the best forums?

Well, INTPs are rare and typically misunderstood and oppressed (often unknowingly). Like all afflictions, INTPness brings it's sufferers together. Also, INTPs seem to me, the most likely to enjoy pondering MBTI, and personality in general.

Way south.
For what Ive seen, most forums are of introverted types, probably because of the same reasons Fusion mentioned. The extroverted are out there... IN THE SUN!! (horror!) :p

All of the INxxs have forums.
I've found some good ENFP chats and ENTP forums.
But, I can't seem to find any ESTJ or ESFJ forums.
And somehow, that makes perfect sense.

my sister is ESFJ. she posts on a forum dedicated to the "Twilight" series (although she doesn't spend near as much time there as i spend here).

lol I like something I saw in one of the other INxx forums (don't remember which one, now) about ESFJs... "the world is their forum. Why would they be here?"

There's also 2 I know of that try to blend all the personalities together. I'm only active on one of them, and there's an ESTJ there... lol but I think he's mostly there to learn how introverts work so that he can understand his brother better and know whether his "constant withdraw" is normal... no ESFJs yet (surprise!).

I think an ENFP chat could be really cool. They make fantastic glue between the INxx types and the rest of the world, in my opinion... and they love doing it, too.

Almost all of the above also applies to INFPs... their forums are just more... um... shall we say less civilized?

I don't know about ESFJ forums, but there is a member of intpforum who is a friend of mine, and is actually an ESFJ. His user name is... wow! I totally did not do that on purpose! His username literally is "ActuallyAnESFJ"! I mean, he only came on here, like, once, and he didn't post anything... but still. I think it should count for something! :D I know for a fact that he goes on some other forums a lot, though, but those have nothing to do with personality.

But he really does just prefer getting out there and meeting people, and doing things, you know?

---------------------

So, which types do have the best forums? I bet INTPs have the best technical forums, at least... :p

Of course it is less probable for an F type to have a forum, because usually the NTs have the knowledge needed to start a nice forum, whith Mods and Admins who know what they're doing. An F type would probably first have to ask someone else to open one for them.
