can you give me an example of a useful thread? because, in the months that I have been active, they have pretty much all, for the most part, been of absolutely no use to 'me'

and the insinuation that somehow shifting the specific insertion place for this allegedly "useless" thread will placate the overly anal retentive forum-goers who care about such matters is... well, a theory that I would like to challenge.

THAT, would be quite a useless matter to get all worked up about.

But, if one needs to know that things are properly ordered before being able to get some shuteye, it is something I can understand... but not relate to, and totally an INTJ thing.

Well I guess it is useful now as it has started a nice discussion. But if someone is purely a test then it should be put somewhere where it can be ignored. I just thought Adaire’s post was harsh however suggested a work around that will keep people happy. Feel free to challenge that theory but we can’t know till we try right? No need to get worked up about it.

I don't agree with your IF/THEN/SHOULD logic there

if indeed something is a test, placing it in a low traffic area would defeat the purpose of the test (possibly, depending on what exact variable I'm testing)

Adaire's or anyone else's unhappiness is purely a function of their curiosity and need for control;

considering the thread title, I think you get exactly what you pay for.

Well... you seem to be testing the variable of how long the thread title is. If you are testing how many people get upset over it then high traffic area it is.

But I imagine there are better places to put things I don't go to "unicorn talk" to hear about the way the earth moves in relation to the sun.
