This thing is pretty great in and of itself, but does anyone know how/why it exists? Seems maybe to demonstrate some type of competency in web design or coding or something.. Maybe someone made it just for fun.

I think maybe most people have come across similar pages before. They're just kind of random and funny, amusing.

This is really cool but i can't seem to achieve a stable orbit - they all degrade within a few minutes (possibly because i'm an idiot re physics). Any tips?
