Hm...

Doctor Who. The Addams Family. Life on Mars. Daria. Star Trek. Monty Python's Flying Circus. Supernatural. Others, too, but I can't think of them at the moment. That and/or I haven't actually watched a television show from a T.V. set in years.

House and Criminal Minds are the only shows that I think of watching on a regular basis. Other than that, if there's somebody I like on Dancing with the Stars, I'll occasionally tune in. That new skating show they came out with on ABC is alright, but I mainly enjoy laughing at celebrities who get world-class training and still can't skate half as good as me.

Yeah, it's an ego-boost.

I'm considering making a gay joke right now. Hm.

NUMERO UNO: House MD! I LOVE that man! The sarcasm, the audacity, the manipulation...how could anything be better??? I WILL be buying all the seasons so I can continue my House fix well into old age! Snark! Yes!

I also like Lie To Me, CSI (Vegas only), and old TV shows from the 70's & 80's (Mork & Mindy was my first). History, Science & Nat Geo channels as well. I don't actually have cable at home, as I think it will rot anyone's brain, but I do watch when I am at other peoples' houses, in public, or online. I have a subscription to Hulu as well as Netflix. :) Then I can pick & choose and not have to feel like I am paying for a bunch of CRAP!

Doctor Who, Castle, Big Bang Theory, all Star Trek series except Enterprise, Firefly, Criminal Minds, House (but only a few seasons, from what I've seen of the newer episodes so far it has gotten a little... stale.)

Big Bang Theory, The Block. I am really enjoying this season of the Block, mostly because although it is a 'reality' show, it is not artifically competitive, no artificial scandals, it is just a group of people (couples) challenging themselves, and I like property, and I like every competitor, there is no couple that everyone 'loves to hate'.
I like Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe. And I finally started watching Buffy.

Well looking at the list, in my head. I enjoy many TV shows. But at the moment I am captivated to Death Note.

The plot, soundtrack and few characters, all match my par. Alas, I am battling this obsession for it. I seem to get rather over-enthusiastic on my ideals. And leave my 'Fairly Pragmatic' dormitory.

Hmm,

Ren & Stimpy
Father Ted
The Twilight Zone (original)
Space Ghost Coast to Coast
Twin Peaks...

One I wanted to mention especially was Jam (2001, I think) a British dark comedy sketch series by Chris Morris (most are more likely to recognise him as the actor who plays the boss in the first series of IT Crowd). I first saw this on a film night with a few friends 2 months ago, Jam rounded off quite an odd night (I mean Bambi, Blue Velvet and Fritz the Cat odd). The humour can be dark to the point of bordering  but it's sooo good. It inspires me to no end. Dark, silly, surreal, it has Puffy written all over it. :p

Jam: Episode 3 - TV Lizards - YouTube

"Are you trying to tell me the cable company is sending us lizards?"
"Maybe, yes."
"What?"
"Down the wire, But by mistake, d-down the wire, the, the lizards." :D

Ren & Stimpy is a childhood favorite, so, yes.
SGC2C, never liked it growing up, but I can appreciate the humor nowadays.

Fantastic Planet and Fritz the Cat. Well, maybe these others might interest you:

I thought the first Fritz film was pretty good, you don't really see those kinds of (animated) films often.

I don't really watch tv programming.

I mainly have ESPN on 80% of the time. I only really ever watch games, and I never watch primetime TV. The only reason I have my TV on is because I like hearing it in the background while I'm on my computer.

What I'm watching now is New Girl, Person of Interest, AHS, and Once Upon a Time. Terra Nova was embarrassing; I've got mixed feelings on Once Upon a Time.

I've also been blitzing through Heroes on Netlix -- I'm finally up to Season #4. The first arc and the Fugitives arc were darn good TV. Season #2, however, sucked.

Just kidding. My TV is basically used for PS3.

I take that back on Twin Peaks. I just finished the second season: absolute pants. :p

They should have kept it short and sweet. I think that's where a lot of series go wrong, not all, I just don't like watching "filler" very much.

Breaking Bad
Dexter
House MD
IT Crowd
Green Wing
The Big Bang Theory
How I Met Your Mother
Californication

The last three are shows I mainly watch with my boyfriend. I've tried making him watch Dexter but he's not very fond of that and House MD is too much drama for him. I sort of agree with that, there's been too much drama later on in the series. He kind of likes Breaking Bad, we've just finished the first season.

I also like reality shows with fat or obnoxious people. There's a show here called "Help, our child is too fat" on which they follow a family for 10 weeks while the child is trying to loose weight. Great fun. I used to watch Obese too. And on occassion, I like Jersey Shore.

I like, maybe love, half of those shows you listed up top. Dexter and House are actually quite similar, in the best way, and How I Met Your Mother is a genius ensemble cast. You're going to have to guess the last one.

A new show that looks promising is Shameless with William H. Macy.

MSNBC, for all its childish liberal doggedness, actually has something good with Alex Wagner, Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, Chris Hayes and Martin Bashir.

Wow, I sound like a fanboy there...I'm not getting paid, honest to nothingness.

Yeah it's worth watching. I like the shows that star Det Robert Goren more than Det Mike Logan, but Law & Order is such a great franchise overall it doesn't really matter in the end.

I'm not sure if this is the place to post this, but I've recently be Sherlocked. (or rather Mylocked)
I resisted watching this show for the LONGEST TIME, but when I remembered 2 major characters (Smaug and Bilbo Baggins) from the Hobbit where being played by Holmes and Watson respectively, I caved and watched the first season on Netflix.
I was incredibly impressed- Steven Moffat is a fantastic writer. I also watched his Jekyll with much enthusiasm. Looking forward to getting to new Dr. Who, too (Still on the 4th Doctor, and he is admittedly my favorite) Looking forward to Season 3 of Sherlock!

i love those short blunt swords they have in spartacus - sand and blood/vengeance. i didn't get the chance to kill anyone, when i was at the appropriate age for demonstrating personal power (7 or so), so i have severe catch up needs. the swords and naked bodies make the show worthwhile. Viva Biancaand Lucy Lawless would make great hate-fucks, if i were (ro)man enough to hate fuck anyone. (i have nothing against them, it's just implied by their distant and dishonest characters).
