as for what i've been doing....
i cannot possibly list all the wonderfully exciting adventures that i have experienced, or the jaw dropping astounding things that i have been doing...so i'll share the main one:

I haven't been here for quite some time either (because I visit this forum sporadically). If you're lazy like me, I'd suggest sticking to threads with a pretty low post count (so you don't have to bother reading 5 or 6 pages to know what's going on). Other than that, I'd just suggest checking out topics relevant to your interests (picture related).
