the more i live, the longer i think life is similar to minecraft

i havent play the game really well but i can deduce it.

its survival mode and building things, only reality is more complex

you create your own meaning.

In areas with good jobs I think it's easier.

Technically most people don't make anything they just buy products and do data entry reports.

So I once said I am not that creative.

Today I got a portable air conditioner but I need some screws. I can't get them until later and I don't want to bother my mom.

In reality social isolation is my main problem.

I don't have a car and I don't know anyone.

Tho I did go outside, I am still lacking abilities to make friends and get resources.

Maybe after the summer or early in the morning. Things take time.

In continuing with my moderation surge, AK this isn't personal I just want to point something out.

In green is where you are responding to the current context. Note that there is no green.

In purple is where you might be, if a charitable reader interprets "it's" to mean easier than minecraft. You could just as easily be talking about areas without good jobs. If that's your intention, you could make it clearer.

In red is stuff you say that have nothing to do with what's being said, or if it is, you haven't communicated that connection.

I'm posting this because it's not clear how aware you are of the disconnect between what you're posting and the forum context. If your thoughts were actually in response to the OP about the connection between minecraft and the real world, it's getting lost in translation and you need put more effort into how you write your thoughts for others to read them. If your thoughts aren't related to the OP, it's probably best to find somewhere more appropriate to put them, like in your personal blog.

@Hadoblado

I don't know how you can compare Minecraft to real life unless you give examples. This is what I think life is like in Minecraft if my life was in Minecraft on survival mode as the OP put it.

So what is life like on easy mode. I would not know.

Yeah except the building blocks of this simulation are elements of periodic table.

The best version of what this world is was defined imho, by saying....

Life in this world is open world game.... you do what you want....

but there are limits like physical limitations, and social limitations.

I think you can pretty much put meaning into anything that is true.

You can say collect bunch of rocks on a beach, and call it collection of rocks, its pointless rather, but yet if you assign meaning to the activity it becomes really meaningful to you it has meaning therefore.

Nietzsche believe in will to power as organizing principal of meaning in life.

In other words striving for betterment and constant growth.

I guess it’s a simulated simplification in certain ways but there’s a lot of key differences. To name a few.

In Minecraft you’re the master of reality, you can do whatever you want and there’s no existing social hierarchy that you have to adapt to. You can lead villagers to their deaths and there’s no repercussions. You build and the village around you has to adapt to what you do.

In Minecraft your objectives are tied to the mechanics of the game. You can explore, kill the ender dragon, mine things and build things. In life the possibilities are more vast and so there’s a lot more diversity in peoples goals and experiences (e.g you can’t be ill or depressed in Minecraft). In real life you can reproduce, build a family, have a range of hobbies or professions, have the world record for longest tongue, etc.
