Well, I lurked for a while and finally felt an urge to make a few posts here and there.

At first it was both overwhelming and disconcerting browsing the forum as much of what I was reading could easily have come from my own mouth or fingers. However, as I read on it became clear that I could fit in, ask advice, offer advice, and possibly have a little fun along the way.

The initial shove came from a fairly new relationship I've entered into with a very near polar opposite of me (ESFJ - I know, it might scare some of you!). She initiated a number of discussions about our types (both Enneagram and MBTI), and has seemed to be overjoyed in learning about me (which obviously goes both ways). We have extreme similarities in moral code, understanding of life and our goals which seem to align well. Our personalities are extreme opposites though (except she has a very soft lien towards Sensing vs iNtuition), even our 'multiple intelligence' as seen in my signature are near opposite.

I have never 'clicked' with someone so rapidly and completely in my life. We've become amazing friends nearly overnight (and it seems to get better every day). So bring on the criticism (and love?)!

I'm glad to have found this little space full of doppelgangers. I look foward to knowing more.

Edit - botched my sig the first try. Guess you'll have hunt for my future posts!

Welcome. Initial lurking seems to be a common behavior before we finally get lured into wanting to post as well.
I'm not scared of ESFJ's. There's one in my family and we get along just fine.

The wired
sounds nice.

The question is: how long will it last? There is a point of transition between the thrill of a new relationship and it beginning to settle down and become more serious... and it is then that you might start to get some strain...

But maybe you are lucky. I'm just sayin'

A newbie?
Guess we'll have to see how long 'till they're scared off.

By the way, don't feed the Melkor. He bites.

.....I wonder if any amount of lurking can prepare anyone for the Arena? Mind you, if you've lurked long enough you have some idea of the insanity to expect...

and yet you joined.

Do I offer you an award of courage, or of....???

Hmmm *tears self away from the awful fate she sees in the crystal ball*

Well, must put on a brave face!! Welcome! :)
