Just a little reminder for the spotted types:

The spottiness can range from a few spots

Hazel. They change colour dependent on I'm not sure what exactly. Sometimes greener, sometimes browner, and sometimes they go a dark orange sort of colour.

Unfortunately, their nature is a bit too unscientific for my purpose.

Oh, and i forgot to mention mine: blue-grey with brown (almost red) spots.

Medium brown iris. When I look up close, the irises have strange blue halos though, they aren't all brown. It's like the brown is superimposed on a background of blue. My dad had light blue-grey eyes and my has mother medium brown eyes. Both my brother and sister have blue-grey eyes.

I went with D but that's not entirely correct. My eyes are dark blue with shafts of a golden ring around the iris.

Well, my left eye does have 2-3 black dots near the bottom outer edge of the iris.

Brown is dominant, actually. And in the USA, the percentage of blue eyes has been diminishing decade after decade.

Yes, there are some pathological issues concerning the iris.
This seems to be an example for that, although i can't come up with the medical term.
EDIT: As the sourced site states about these very unusual spots:

The brown spots indicate an inherited weak liver function that can lead to gallstones and/or cholesterol problems in the future.
Many brown spots are a warning of potential gallstones
Brown spots indicate sluggish liver function
Scar tissue in the spleen area [fibre going at 90 degrees to fibres]
Possible past history of major virus/bacterial infection or high fever
Also scar tissue in liver area can indicate past glandular fever
Fibre parting in uterus area shows past problem here
White inflammation sign also seen around bladder area
Possible past history of urinary tract infects

Under the heavy spots (pathological) you can see a ring of orange.
Sometimes that ring is not complete, and it is arranged more like a spotted halo.
That's why they chose the term "spotted", although spotted can have a wider range of variation.
It's a lowest common factor approach.
So that individual would be grey-blue with brown spots.

Just linking Anthropology and Neurobiology.

But as it looks at the moment,

Central heterochromia

Central heterochromia is an eye condition where there are two colors in the same iris; the central (pupillary) zone of the iris is a different color than the mid-peripheral (ciliary) zone, with the true iris color being the outer color.

Anyone know how this differs from hazel? It seems hazel isn't a whole lot different. Does hazel require that the iris change color around the outer ring of the iris and not the inner or something? And supposedly it's considered an eye condition, which kind of seems silly to me.

As a side note I was asked yesterday if I was quarter Japanese. I laughed. Told them I was a product of northern country inbreeding. Non multi international with me. Funny though that they found me exotic, as is how I interpreted it. 4 random people complemented me on pretty eyes. As was odd. Usually people say nothing. But suddenly yesterday during my 1 hour pub visit(as is usually more then enough for me), they came from everywhere. But no, I am not quarter Japanese, and my eyes appear blue. Maybe sort of a smokey/ice blue.
