I am voting for myself. I am profoundly unintelligent. None of you are dumber than I.

Does being really incredibly stupid for long periods of time count? I spend much more time as an idiot than I do as a savant...

I have my lapses of stupidity. And it often appears that I'm usually not on par with the intelligence of most of the people on this forum. I'll just hope that's because I'm young.

If everyone on this forum has an IQ of 127 and you are slighly below them, you would be around 124 on estimate, which is still far above-average in comparison to the world's population. I am using IQ as a term for intelligence and the scale for a tool to measure this intelligence. I also used the statistics/percentile of the average IQ test to decide the numbers for the intelligence levels.

You're not the dumbest, but you're definitely the worst here. Go away, you.

I'm a seasoned idiot, and this has been confirmed by members of this forum. I think that makes me dumber than all you unseasoned idiots.

I demand to know your IQ score. My IQ score is normally below 80 online. I once took an offical IQ test when younger at an educational psychologist's office and I received 64.

Ive done and said many stupid things, of course, but the worst part is that the memory of those moments keep circling my head almost daily. I must have a masochistic side :p

Oh yes. It's interesting how I can remember every ridiculous word I have ever uttered, but I can't remember a single sentence where I actually made some sense =|

I have never taken a properly IQ test. So I have no idea. I don't see myself as particularly bright, though. I did find an indicator once; national Mensa test. All the questions were in the same category, so I don't think it's very accurate. Either you know how to solve them, or you don't. Kinda. I got 106, I think. I believe if I rate above average at all, it won't be much more than that.

Your IQ is lower than mine. I am dumber. Therefore, you are not welcome here.

Face is obviously the dumbest, for not remembering that IQ is a better measure of how fast your brain works than how smart you are.

I stated: "I am using IQ as a term for intelligence and the scale for a tool to measure this intelligence". I changed the definition for my own purpose. Plus, IQ is not only a 'better measure of how fast your brain works'. IQ tests gauge various aspect's of one's ability. Capacity to reason, understand and apply knowledge and other abilities. For example, if there is the question "Who is the Current President?", it is a test of conscious knowledge, which should be readily available to mind. It is not limited to testing the speed of your functioning. Frankly, a stupid person might be incapable of answering certain questions on the test with unlimited time. Yes, a smart person might have been capable of answering all of them correctly with sufficient time to pond over them all, but it is desired that everyone has the same period of time to finish the test. It creates a degree of fairness. People will have advantages and disadvantages with this system. This is how it is a test. Not everyone will excel at it, sadly. The rules of the test remains the same for everyone to enable stability with results.

Can one simply change the definition of a term to serve his/her own purpose? Doing that around here is going to lead to several misunderstandings rather rapidly I would imagine. (as seen by the exchange above before my post)

Sure. The confusion will be interesting. I switched the IQ he received from an IQ test into a number that represents his intelligence for fun.

As long as its explicitly stated that the term will be used with a different meaning and it is clearly defined I dont see the problem.
I dont know where is this thread supposed to be going tho.

Ain't that the truth I make a vast distinction between evolution and Evolution, and I have to constantly explain my use of the term. However, words can be modified to fit the context...

I integrally acquiesce with you and dovetail indignant when proletariat vacillate their terming for an locution of context when it's irrefragably unnecessary. It serves very perplexing and leads to your expression, ironically, not being understood, despite you altering the words for it to be comprehended easier.

Let's count the other threads that we do not know where they are "supposed to be going".
I think we have a good share of both. I didnt mean it as an insult or anything, I was just curious, maybe you intended something specific and we (I) didnt get it.

well, I don't really know. I've only taken online tests...if you want to use those then I am smarter than you by your defn. But I don't know, maybe getting 64 makes you a highly unorthodox thinker and smarter than everyone else who sees things all the same way?

Perhaps, or I'm too stupid to form an opinion of an subject requiring intelligence. I do not think that true IQs from the offical test equal intelligence, by the way.

True inteligence is in the Creativity and Depth of Thought. Not the abilty to repeat others like in mathematics and science, i have far too short an attention span and lack of motivation to do this.

Professors do not only parrot the knowledge that they have accumulated from books. They develop their own knowledge based on their personal research and contemplation. People achieve an PhD for being capable of being original and researching well.

profesors and scientists are different. i mean the type taught in schools and colleges, that is just regurgitation.
(science is much more venerable than maths, which one of my least favourite things in the world)

Mathematics and science often function together. If you enjoy science, you should appreciate mathematics for supporting it at times.

i enjoy science to the degree of being amazed things we know so little about. maths is rigid, unbearably monotonous and at the level in which algebra is elaborated and graphs are complicated it is completely pointless

I like English much more than either though

You should maybe wait until you have reached the depths of it (think pure mathematics). Numerous subjects seem 'rigid' and 'shallow' until you reach the advanced levels of it. You have to learn the basics of a subject to progress onto the complexities of it. Yes, the basics might be pointless, but they are granting you the ability to move onto the complex aspects that have advantages.
