Would you wear it in any form? If so, what?

I stopped for a minute and thought about it, and I think I wouldn't mind wearing a plain hoodie with my type on it. Anybody who doesn't know what it means won't care, and it's surprising just how many people know a little (I've met 5-6 people out of the blue). It makes for a good conversation starter, but doesn't bring stupid amounts of attention like joke shirts and what not.

Thoughts?

I'm a bit messed up right now but I'd paint my type on my naked body as a conversation starter...easy for me to say behind a computer screen. Should have posted on the drunken thread.

Welp, I don't really have any business savvy about me, nor am I particularly motivated to acquire wealth in the first place. I just had the idea, and rather than test it for real decided to see if I could get any degree of agreement from here. If it can be demonstrated that there is money to be made from such merchandise, people will be more likely to provide it. It's probably not a particularly innovative idea ("hey there is a thing that I like let's put it on a t-shirt"), but I thought it was worth discussing, particularly as this forum is home to several entrepreneurial types.

You could set up a website, get an art/design savvy friend to do some designs on a small size range of hoodies for you and see if you get any takers. There would be plenty of people out there who would like to wear their "badge", particularly if the design was clever/subtle.

Not sure if I would be one of them, but I'd probably buy one just to support Hado.

I was thinking last night about whether or not we need the labels, as fun and socially lubricative as they may or may not be, it does seem a little like tattooing your star sign somewhere it can be seen. What if people bought them for their kids? That seems heinous. And gift giving?

"But I'm an ENF..."
"Shut up and take the shirt you ungrateful sensor!"

Yuck.

Edit: not to mention that it would propagate MBTI peripherally, which is something that requires critical assessment given it's dubious wishy-washy nature.

I can't decide if the idea of I N T P printed across some chick's butt on a pair of hot pink sweatpants a la Victoria's Secret PINK is hilarious or cringeworthy or both at the same time. Don't think I'd have the balls or desire to wear a pair even though I'd be curious to see the types of people who would approach based off them (probably none; I'd be scared as fuck of that girl).

I do somewhat like the underwear idea though. Somewhat knowing what you're getting into before you get into it. ^__^

I think by the time you're reading their underwear it's probably too late :p

Not at all - one could just make a hasty retreat upon reaching the stage of underwear reading (having found that an incompatible type was sheathed therein).

Personally I prefer a more secretive approach to 'finding similar' - emblazoning merch with our type will leave us vulnerable to being rounded up and sectioned by the 'others'!

I guess something along the lines of a gang sign would work pretty well. People in our little gang would know what it means, and nobody else. We could even change the sign every few months to keep them guessing.

I'm pretty sure you could reach a wide young crowd at the Personality Cafe. I would personally find wearing a pseudo scientific personality description as a badge, a bit of a joke.

I would like others to wear it though.
