All resources are either of the needed or cumulative variety; the distinction being that needed resources are used/consumed/expended and thus require constant replacement & cumulative resources are kept and protected until they become needed or are no longer of worth.
People are not exempt from being resources; with the cumulative classification being the most beneficial for the person in question.
