Hi... my name is Gizmo (for all intents and purposes). I think I've lurked across this forum several years ago when I first took the MBTI as a teenager and was placed in your honored ranks as an INTP.
Due to a rather unfortunate habit of over-communication, I eventually decided I was an impostor here, and must belong somewhere out there with the ENTP cousins.
A couple years later and I am dating a true ENTP and now I see that the distinct differences between introversion and extroversion, and they are measured by more than how much you talk.
So I'm back.
You've been warned (an advantage that my boyfriend wasn't lucky enough to receive)

ENTPs have an effortless witty and usually cuastic flow to their conversation that INTPs can only emulate for a time. INTP are usually stuttery in some fashion as their complex ideas have difficulty fitting into simplistic words. This is true of ISTPs too (dom Ti's have the least facility in talking or listening) Dominant talking Types like Fe (a function that expresses through language) talk a lot too.

Note writing is different than talking and Ti's usually are very good at.

I can not vouch for my wittiness, but caustic I can certainly be. Are you suggesting I might indeed be an imposter? I am open to other possibilities and welcome any thoughts. I suppose it is possible that instead of a talkative INTP I could actually be a somewhat antisocial ENTP... Food for thought indeed...

We can all be talkative sometimes. I am very talkative 1: 1 perhaps up to lets say a party of 4-5. More than that is stressful, and the weight of conversation at the level tends to become more dull than the typical small talk. I also find that I talk to strangers somewhat effortlessly. Although, I've always felt safe around strangers and I think I tend to talk at them rather than to them. Strangers are like white noise in a way. I cant count how many times I've talked to homeless folk for stretches way beyond 10 minutes. My mother is lucky to get me on the phone for more than 2.
