What is your lifestyle, how do you live, go into detail.

Where do you live (city, country, suburbs) what's the weather/climate usually like, what time do you wake up, when do you go to sleep, what does your diet typically consist of, what do you do during the day, during the week at work, on the weekend, do you have any pets, etc.

Anything and everything you think is relevant to how much you do or don't enjoy your lifestyle, and then what would your ideal lifestyle be?

I live in an inner city apartment, 28th floor, there's a pretty decent view but also an office building right across from us so the curtains are normally drawn and when they're not it dosen't really catch my attention, although there's one spot that overlooks the city gardens and I like to sit there with a drink and my ipad when it's not too cold or windy, which is most of the time.

Obviously I can't afford digs like myself, I'm living with my mum, boarding, she's had cancer on and off, drinks like a fish, and smokes like a chimney, so even if an opportunity to move out that wasn't a huge step down in convenience I'd still have to seriously consider if I'm willing to leave her on her own unsupervised. Anyway living with her isn't a hassle, I work at night and sleep during the day, she does the nine to five thing, so when only see each other on weekends and even then we're usually doing our own thing.

My weekdays consist of getting up at four, in the evening, getting showered/changed, heading off to work for about 5-9 hours, I do permant part-time in a stationary store so my hours and actual job changes with the season. Despite it being retail I actually quite enjoy it, I'm not in a cubical, I'm not out in the rain and sun, my job is often physical but not crushingly so, I deal with some customers but not the crowds the day shift people do, if I had no ambition I could be perfectly happy doing this for the rest of my life, it helps that I like the people I work with.

Who seem to be predominantly gay, which isn't a problem, heck they're nice to me :D but after after learning about the fourth one I'm starting to wonder if there's something in the water or if I was mistakenly hired because I dressed well for the interview.

When I get home I turn on my laptop, open up TurboCAD and work to the break of dawn with my iPad by my side so I can look up parts as I fiddle with my designs, hence the recent rage thread about imperial measurement, finding just the right part of just the right size to do just the right thing in just the right place is hard enough without half of them being incompatible with the other half.

On the weekend I go for long walks around the city and/or drink and play videogames, maybe go down to the library or to the mall for katsudon and a movie, I enjoy living in the city, if I didn't have so with which to entertain myself I'd lose my mind, although finding a nice quiet spot to sit and think can be difficult, it's partly the reason why I'm so nocturnal, I love going out just after midnight and finding somewhere to sit that overlooks the city lights reflecting off the river.

Eh why not?

I live mostly in Canberra (Australia), nearish the CBD. Around me its a mix of medium density (up to 10 floors max) apartment blocks on the main roads but its mostly single dwelling/duplex type houses.

Continental climate, warmish summers, coldish winters. Its winter now; probably falls between 2-6 degrees at night, about 10-15 max during the day.

Um university student lifestyle so erratic at best. In recent weeks I've put much more of an effort in. Generally fall asleep by 10pm now and wake up anywhere from 4-6am (weird I know, but I like mornings, especially the heavy fog here).

I've had really terrible eating patterns last few years but have been in the process of turning this around. For breakfast I now usually have toast and boiled/scrambled eggs. Lunch is anything, perhaps something out, but anything I have on hand, soups/sandwiches etc. Dinner is soup/pasta or something similar. I've bought a whole bunch of frozen vegetables and so I've been eating them steamed as snacks throughout the day along with nuts and bits of fruit.

I spend most of my day in my room, thinking about things; online courses, catching up university work, taking notes on things that interest me (philosophy, math, bit of economics). Its been kind of directionless for a while now, I have to switch degrees (can't stand the one I'm in) but to what I don't know yet. That and the need to get a job soon are probably my biggest source of stress/immediate goals but I kind of keep pushing them both back... Not good.

I have a cat and a dog but they're both in Sydney with my parents. Cat is brown tortoiseshell and the dog is this white fluffy thing which is pretty cool.

My room is quite spartan; I have 2 laptops, paper in my desk draws, speakers on desk, some crockery/utensils to cook with and things like detergents/toothbrush near the sink. Also have a small wardrobe which I'm in the process of replacing with new things -- I want to make it much more minimalist, going for 5-6 shirts, 3 pants 2 pairs of shoes or so instead of the omnishambles I have at the moment.

Ideal lifestyle would be to finish uni, work somewhere that interests me (duh) before being able to start my own business (in what I have no idea). Would be cool to start something that turns into a sprawling conglomerate sure, but I'll settle for sustainable freedom & being my own boss.

Also I guess this is relevant, I'm thinking about buying a small tent and sleeping bag to go hiking this month, just kind of randomly.

How about you Cognisant?

I'm a suburban high school student and live with my ISFJ mom, INFP dad, and INFP little brother. Each morning I wake up at 06:30 to arrive at school by 07:20, the intervening fifty minutes being eaten up by morning grogginess and a surprising amount of roadway traffic. At school I study the usual subjects, but with an ever-strengthening focus on the basic (as opposed to applied) sciences. My existential despair has ravaged my mind, and among the slain lies what little executive function I had built in the preceding fifteen years; school, once a cakewalk, has become an endless stream of pressures and worries, sometimes giving me terrifying visions in my mind's eye.

When school becomes too much, I retreat here, where the only 'pressures' are compliance with the rules and like-minded people abound. Yes, my prolificity is partially a coping mechanism. :o At lunch, I visit the forum and reply to posts and messages, and then return to taking classes until 15:20, at which point I return home to stay on the forum and play video games until about 23:00, at which point the cycle begins again. Weekends are the same, except that I wake up at around 09:00 and fall asleep around 01:30.

I'm an expat living in small a Mexican city, around 500 miles south of Mexico City. I live with my expat 'wife' and two sons, ages 12 and 9, in a medium-sized house on a large property. My wife runs an English language-oriented day/after-school care program for the kids in our upper-middle class neighborhood out of our house. Our boys attend a small local Mexican public school. We (or she, more precisely) have many friends and acquaintances in the community.

My retired mother lives in a bungalow we constructed for her in the rear garden. There's also a 1 bedroom apartment with its own entrance upstairs. We rent the bungalow to mom and the upstairs apartment to another retired expat. We do not own this house; we rent from the owner but are planning to buy within the next five years. We've made a lot of improvements on our own dime and it's been worth the investment, as with the other rents we collect from mom and the apartment tenant we end up paying around 200 dollars a month + utilities.

We have a young, small dog (he's an expat too) and mom also has a large, elderly dog (she's born and raised in Mexico).

The weather here is generally hot. It is rare to need a jacket. Typically, it rains rather heavily from May through August, but we've had less than normal so far this year. Still not cold though, even when it rains.

The house generally wakes up around 6:30. Simple breakfast of cappuccino, granola or hot cereal. Kids leave for school at 8:00. They walk with friends. I either go to work, if I have an early class, or prepare lessons in my office from 8:00 to 1:00. Then I drive 5 kilometers to work. I have classes downtown until 6 pm, then I either come home to teach an evening class (have a classroom at the house) or drive to an evening lesson at the house of my student. I don't eat dinner with the family, as I don't generally arrive home till 8:00 or after, though lately my youngest son has been waiting till I get home to eat with me (as an excuse to stay up late, probably, but I'd like to think it's just because he wuvs me). There is always a large salad waiting for me in the fridge courtesy of my wife and/or mom when I arrive home. I sometimes eat during the day at a 'comida del dia' type restaurant, but not always.

After dinner, I visit with the family if they're still active, then come in my office to play computer games or cruise the net for an hour or two, depending on how I'm feeling. I usually go to bed between 10 and 11, though sometimes later.

I am definitely content with what passes for my 'lifestyle', though it's going to get hectic here soon as I embark on my long-planned objective of opening an English-language school in the downtown area. I've nearly completed the two-year long process of creating the curriculum and applying for the necessary permits. Just looking for an ideal downtown location. When I find that, things are going to get busy as fuck, but I'm not complaining.

Actually, not complaining at all. Life is good, much better than it ever was in our home country.

I live in a 2 bedroom apartment near a beach that's not close to the city. I share with 3 adults, all family. It's a bit crammed but I kind of have my own room. The "feng shui" of the room is good because it's a sunroom which faces the beach, meaning I get that powerful spiritual (for want of a better word) energy from the water.

I wake up at 6:30, travel to office job, stay at office until 5. Monday to Friday.

After 5pm? Changes on the day. Friday is always a piss-up with workmates. I am anything from relatively social to super social on the piss and it's a highlight of any week.

Mon - Thurs are generally boring and I need to do something about it. Tuesday nights I have the place to myself which is a nice way to divide the week up.

Saturday would involve beach in summer, but generally now involves playing banal videogames like Fifa 13. It's somewhat of alone time. I like to do something social Saturday night, like a dinner or a party or a bar, but because I'm not near the city anymore, I don't do it every single Saturday night like I used to.

Sunday I am generally at the footy all day, refereeing games. This "colours" my Sundays. Sunday nights though are best spent in contemplation. Sitting at the beach or stargazing while journal writing are ideal.

It's quite a non-INTP and non-authentic lifestyle and this does bother me somewhat. It's very practical though, and I do have a strong pragmatic side.

I'm a single guy that lives on a college level budget. I can upgrade my lifestyle but I'm focused on getting a business set up and is willing to sacrifice for that. I still live with younger students to pay for the rent. Also, guiding them forces me to learn social skills that I hope to use in the future. They're usually out studying/partying so I get to have the house for myself to recharge.

There's always that temptation to move back to my INFJ mother and ESTJ father to further slash my cost of living but my pride won't have any of that nonsense yet :D

I usually wake up at 5 AM to jog and prepare for work (which will end this month). After doing some office stuff, I go home at around 5 PM to do some writing or playing some games. I also attend Master's class during the school season. It keeps me from getting dull and practices my social skills as well (Community Development :) ). The Fe workout leaves me drained but I have built a good network in that school so I believe they can provide me with work should I fail my start-up.

Dreams of being an entrepreneur has helped me amass a decent amount of funds to make my own start-up. I don't know if I'll fail or not, but I'm sure I'll be stronger once I start being my own boss.

Where do you live (city, country, suburbs)

I live in what could be called a "suburb" of Baltimore, although it's really its own little town that merged into the metro area. I'm within a mile outside the beltway, although I can't hear the highway due to all the trees and houses. I like it because it feels almost country-ish (and if you drive another mile away from the beltway, it becomes all woods and fields). It's also a cute little town because there's a main stretch for about 6 blocks that is full of shops and little places to eat; they even have a vinyl store (i.e., record albums in their slip jackets), where the guy will also cut your records to CD for $6 an album.

I live in a small section of a large Victorian house. The space is very tiny -- basically a merged kitchen/living area that is only as big as the rather largish bedroom (which I think is something like 11' x 17') -- but it still costs $835/month, the cheapest I could find that wasn't a dump, plus a tiny skinny bathroom. The place has personality but is terribly insulated, doesn't have Central Air, and all the applicances look to be left over from the 60's/70's. The dishwasher doesn't really get things clean. There is a laundry room in the house which is right next door to my place, which is nice; everyone else has to walk around.

Weather

The weather in Baltimore is about 5-8% hotter than central PA. So it snows less, but we get rain/snow off the water and the tropical storms go up the coast. The summers can be very humid and hot (hitting the mid-90's), but sometimes we get weird weather like the last two weeks, that is much cooler / less humid than normal. The winters are usually mild, although on occasion a storm will come up the coast and Baltimore will get hammered. (I think in early 2010 our government agency was closed down an entire week because of snow.)

Schedule

I have flexible work hours (so you can show up any time between 6am-9:30am, and then you just work 8.5 hours after that point before you can go home, lastest time to leave is 6pm). When I was doing the commute, I would leave very early so I could get out of work by 3pm; nowadays I live about 5 miles away and this morning didn't show up until 9:30am, again. I'm a lazy butt. On the weekends, I'll get up usually around 10am, but I've been feeling really run-down lately and Sunday slept until 1pm (after staying up until about 3:30am).

My sleep habits suck. I need to sleep more. I've only been pulling about 4-5 hours a night for a long time, and I'm realizing I can't hack that anymore. I don't even know why I stay up so late, although my cycle is screwy -- I get tired in late afternoon and evening, then start waking up again around 9pm.

Diet

My diet sucks. Too many carbs, some fruit, some fat. I need more leafy vegs. I like pizza too much. Sometimes I make a nice little green salad with pears and gorgonzola (bought at discount) and Greek vinaigrette.

Work

I work during the day; I'm either at meetings or working from my desk on some form of documentation related to software requirements.

Life

My life is boring and sucky right now, and I am unhappy, but I'm in a bind. When I moved here, I only had 1-2 close friends at work, but I don't see them outside work because they're either not here or have a family and don't have time to get together. I joined two RPG groups (one is a group of mid/late 20's, the other ranges from 30-45 or so age-wise), and I really like everyone in both groups, but both meet about 20-25 miles away unfortunately; one group meets weekly, the other biweekly; I don't see them outside of gaming, partly because of the distance. I would like to drive away to see friends on occasion, but can't justify the expense right now.

The bind comes because of my ongoing divorce, some nasty credit card debt, and a really horrific tuition debt that should have never been incurred for one of our children, where my ex lied to me about cost and then took it to court as part of the divorce and I didn't make any headway. So I have been riding the edge of bankruptcy for about nine months now, and had to incur extra debt against my share of assets in the marriage, so even after we settle this summer, I don't know if I'll be out of the hole since any assets I get will probably get sucked up by that stupid tuition thing. It's very very frustrating; I've never been this financially unstable in my life (and before separation was able to pay off my entire cc balance every month). Last month I spent $60 on books, partly for my son for his graduation and $100 on supplies that will last me some months (I buy in bulk), and this month suddenly I'm dipping into next month's money to pay my bills; that's how tight things are... on a federal Grade 12, Step 3 salary, which is ridiculous; that's how much money I am paying toward debt. I can't live this tightly without getting really depressed; my ex can pinch pennies, but I'm not a J, I need more flex in my life to actually be happy. Not extravagant, just SOME flex.

But I bring all that up to explain my life: I basically go to work, come home, and stay home. In nice weather, I go for walks or drive to a local hiking trail. I can't really afford to go places that will cost me any money, since my budget is so tight. This means not even making a trip to Wash DC (which is only about 30 miles away), since it's a gas expenditure I can't really justify. I see my kids once every 1-2 weeks, and since they live 90 miles away, that's 180-200 miles which is about 7-8 gallons which is about $20 for just the trip. I am so sick of the fact I even have to DO the math and can't just drive up when I feel like it.

This past weekend, with it being kind of rainy, I pretty much didn't go anywhere. I was exhausted. I should have cleaned up the place, at the very least; all I did was sleep, surf the 'net, play SWKOTOR 2 (content-restored version) as a dark sider, and watch some movies including Warm Bodies. Oh, and I ran out for fries at 5 Guys on Sunday night as a treat. Wheee. This is my life. I should be spending all that isolation time doing something constructive like writing music or stories, but... I don't. meh.

Pets

I have a cat. He is two years old. His name is Pascal. He's a creep, but we cohabit nicely enough, except when he attacks my feet when I'm getting into bed in the dark and I get pissed and chase him around the room. He uses me for food and sleeps on my bed, but far enough away I can't usually just reach out and touch him (unless he's hungy, and then he plops his butt down on my chest or face). He loves to be petted; he doesn't usually like to be held. He's a gray tiger DSH, with some brown tufts mixed into to give him some personality. Living alone, I sometimes talk to him; the funniest moments are when he's bitching at me (with this whiny little meow) and I'll sass him back, and we'll go back and forth in this mock conversation until I finally feed him. He's a pig; he eats all of his food in one shot, then runs off and hides before I can pick him up. Sometimes I cuddle him because I know he doesn't like it. Yes, it's a love full of ups and downs for us, but we only have each other.

Beside food and sleep, the other love of his life is the laser pointer. It's funny to watch him lock onto that moving red dot, his little tail tip flicking, making little meows, hunkered down along the ground, until he springs. When I make it run up the wall, he'll go after it; I've seen him touch a spot about 4-5 feet high on the wall, when he's really excited and going for that thing.

What I want

More flexibility, so I can actually choose to go somewhere at the last minute without having to consider even GAS money. More time in Wash DC walking around, visiting museums and landmarks. More arts/concerts.
I'd like to have 1-3 good friends who I could just visit any evening I wanted company, even if just to meet for coffee and talk for an hour. People to watch movies with. Talk about life with.

A significant other would be nice too, but I don't know how likely that is to happen considering I don't have much luck meeting people of interest, and I don't want to be with someone just to not be alone. Just someone I deeply connect with, where we enjoy doing similar things together, someone to dote on a bit, go for walks and hold hands with. (And yeah, sex would be nice. It's been a long time.) Financially I'd probably do better as well if we could share costs.

I'd like to get my head together and have time set aside daily where I FOCUS and actually accomplish something... like writing stories or music. I'm just floating right now, and I'm so frustrated because I want to do things but have a lot of trouble finding the energy to persist. I do much better when I have something specific to RESPOND to, rather than an open-ended plan where I must provide the impetus.

Barring that, I wish the world was uncivilized again. The "fantastic" stuff in The Hobbit wasn't necessarily the draw for me, it's the sense that you can grab a few things and start walking and the world would unveil itself, with more to see and explore and discover. I miss the sense that the world is full of discovery. I want to find things and see things, especially things few others have. Maybe I'll go out tonight and watch the stars for awhile.

Where do you live (city, country, suburbs)
I'm currently living in the suburbs in Utah, south of Salt Lake City. In other words, I'm an atheist living in the land of the Mormons. This doesn't bother me that much since I keep to myself anywhere I go. Everything is really spread out on a grid system. Public transportation is horrid, so driving is almost mandatory. I ride my bike when I can, but often end up having to drive because of the . . .

what's the weather/climate usually like
It's either Winter or Summer here. There's not much of a Fall or Spring. There's a lot of good skiing or snowboarding to engage in here, but I don't feel it necessary to do much of either. It's fun, but not something I'm passionate about.

what time do you wake up, when do you go to sleep
I go to sleep at about 2 pm and wake up at about 10 pm to avoid the heat and so I can spend most of my time alone.

what does your diet typically consist of
I generally try to keep my diet healthy, but, being a broke college student, I mostly eat whatever is available and cheap.

what do you do during the day, during the week at work
Since Spring semester ended, I've just been reading a lot and playing a whole lot of video games. I started the Wheel of Time series, and I've also been reading some non-fiction. As for video games, I've been playing BF3, Tomb Raider, and Far Cry 3. I've also been learning about Unity, so as to keep me interested and involved in programming to some, albeit small, extent.

I'll be working a seasonal position in retail until Fall semester begins. I'll be stocking shelves early in the morning so as to avoid having to deal with customers.

I have a dog. He's an Australian Shepard/Border Collie mix. He's pretty old at this point, but he's been my dog and often my only friend for about a decade.

Anything and everything you think is relevant to how much you do or don't enjoy your lifestyle, and then what would your ideal lifestyle be?
I've been a broke college student for nearly a decade. I have several degrees and am working on a third one. I'm actually fairly content with the student lifestyle. I have no strong desire for fancy material possessions. As long as I have shelter, food, Valium, my dog, books to read, video games to play, an internet connection, and the ability to go jogging, I'm pretty content.

I dislike the disapproval my lifestyle garners from certain other personality types, but I do my best to avoid them as much as possible. In the land of the Mormons, extroversion is king with lots of silly social activities. I was forced into these when I was young, but they, more often than not, made me dislike people even more.

My ideal lifestyle would have included my working an internship for the Summer, but I suffered a mental breakdown, ended up in the psych ward, and the internship I had been offered ended up going to someone else. So, I'm currently residing in my mom's basement for the Summer. It hasn't been that bad though. She's doesn't care if I work this Summer or not and doesn't care that I've just been slacking off since the Semester ended. I decided to get a job anyway so that I'm not a complete parasite.

I would like to improve my social abilities to the extent that I could date more, but, being on the autism spectrum, dealing with people is often more trouble than it's worth. I've been banging my head against a brick wall for the past decade trying to fit in, but I'm always an outsider, despite my efforts or lack thereof. I also find most people to be incredibly boring. I find it amazing other people can be so entertained by all the chatter most of them engage in most of the time. So, I'm fairly ambivalent about socializing. I realize a social safety net would be good, but I really dislike dealing with people.

I usually end up unintentionally pissing people off when I interact with them or my relative indifference to other people also pisses them off. People often try to bully me, too. So, much like someone won't touch a hot stove, I keep my distance from people.

I'm happiest when I'm alone at night with my books and video games. I find that the presence of other people ruins just about everything.

What is your lifestyle, how do you live, go into detail.

TimeAsylums - ENTP
Status: college student pursuing psychology - planning to be a psychologist etc...
Age: 19

Where do you live (city, country, suburbs)
Colorado Springs, an hour south of the capital (Denver). Outer city limits, basically suburbs, but still city. The town is majority republican and military (meh); as opposed to Boulder or Denver.

what's the weather/climate usually like
Apparently Colorado is known for getting 300 days of sunshine a year - it rarely thunderstorms, it flash snows/blizzards often. However there is basically no humidity whatsoever. Colorado is absofuckinglutely beautiful - for what it lacks in a variety of foilage/ecology - it has 50+ 14,000ft mountains which you can access. It has a bunch of lakes and outdoors stuff for everyone.
I love it for the most part - but I don't really ski or snowboard, so when it snows I'm a little limited.

what time do you wake up
5:00-6:00 am to go running - its never hot!
I love to see the sunrise
when I wake up later than that I feel like I've wasted a day - it has gone by, but when I wake up early, the day feels twice as long.

when do you go to sleep
Well - going by the 90min sleep cycles, I try to get 9 hours, but can only usually get 7.5 hrs so either: 8:00pm or 9:30pm.
For most people that seems incredible early, but I get more done during the day and I hate being an insomniac, when you're tired you do...stupid/interesting shit.

what does your diet typically consist of
Veggies, fruits, grains, nuts, WATERRRRRRR

what do you do during the day during the week at work
lazy.

on the weekend
go hiking
go running
go canoeing/kayaking
do the sex
hang with friends (see the above statement)
Read books (see Oh My Jung! thread)
just live

do you have any pets
I care not for the maintenance of another being, nonetheless my family has a dog.

Anything and everything you think is relevant to how much you do or don't enjoy your lifestyle, and then what would your ideal lifestyle be?

I pretty much live my ideal lifestyle, I've been all over the United States, Asia, Europe, and going to Central America this summer. I run as much as I want, I get outdoors a lot, I've got friends, you might say I've found my niche in life already. I like to be as minimalist as possible - I don't really buy shit that much if ever, I could live in a studio apartment for the rest of my life. I could really care less about body appearance, but I lifted weights for awhile in high school so I've got an ideal body too. I've got two tattoos, planning my third later this month - trying not to go overboard haha. My hobbies are basically: people ( the human mind/condition ) [read: everything about them]; languages, and the outdoors.

Overall: I know English and Spanish (fluently), have taken a course or two in French, but my next language will undoubtedly be German. I'm good with languages :D

Being an ENTP:

I love it really, the Ne can get hectic at times, but ultimately its my best quality - I don't see how Ti can be underdeveloped in anyone with Ne-Ti, because the Ne will essentially force you to think if you ever want to have a clear head - ever. I love having tert Fe because I'm always the one who assembles my groups of friends, and I can be polite/humble/ read: social necessities. idk if everyone else is lazy, but I'm the plan maker, not even kidding, That kinda made my P into a J...but I'm still super open ended/open minded. As far as Si goes, fuck it, I can't think about the past for more than two seconds without getting bored - not even kidding. I stretch/do yoga a lot for my body ( but I guess that's Si too? ), anyway I can leave people without a second thought if they wrong me, but I also bond with people in an instant, I can 'click' with almost anyone I meet on the street. However, I have to be consistently using my Ti on my Ne to make sure my Ne doesn't create an abundance of...masks/characters/personalities that I get lost in, but I'm a lot better on that now, I'm actually...consistent.An interesting fact is my mother is an INTJ, now if you know the functions:
INTJ: Ni > Te > Fi > Se (ENTP shadow)
ENTP: Ne > Ti > Fe > Si (INTJ shadow)

I told her: "she gave birth to her unconscious." ("and deep down, our primal beings want to "be the other.") And then I stopped talking because that was freaky enough.

kinda freaky, I mean chance I know, but freaky.
We get along just fine, pretty much never get into each others way or argue, but I notice when I am super actually stressed out - I very much access my unconscious and the inner INTJ comes out. I have yet to see an "ENTP" side of her.

Dealing with other types:

I used to get annoyed so much by non NT's lol, but my Ne is master adapter. As you INTPs know, you have your "chameleon." Well us ENTP's have our "adaptability." I use it like a boss - friends, randoms, teachers, bosses, whatever gets the job done (tert Fe so goddamn useful I swear).

For some reason I've yet to even personally meet our wonder partners the INFJ (goddamn 1%ish) or anything close :/
I've dated a few girls: majorly ISTPs and ISFPs (lol J's are probably turned off by my open-endedness.) Idk if it's because they're common or because the ISTP has Ti dom and theyre super common, (and super easy to please lol). So still working on that, but I'm young :D

lets see...
I know most people don't care for the labels Alpha/beta males but ill go a shot.
Never a beta - because Ne dom simply can't be a follower...ever. lol
Can be an alpha if situation calls for it - most of my friends just follow me around (kinda lame sometimes), but usually I don't care to lead, but I guess its my confidence that attracts people (idk), I'm never outwardly cocky - If I think/know(lol) that I'm smarter/stronger than someone, I've never told them so - even in an argument or whatever, don't have time for that shit; My Ne-Ti amazes even myself sometimes. I might be an inner cocky/elitist cold bastard ( might be. ) but outwardly, I'm an outgoing friendly confident smart person etc...eh

uh, I don't play any instruments - not by choice, but I don't/can't get/understand music :D I suppose that makes me a neanderthal to a lot fo you but my skills actually follow these charts lol: http://www.mypersonality.info/timeasylums/
^scroll down and see multiple intelligences, ik it might seem like I'm more bodily/kinesthetic with my love of the outdoors, but my hand-eye is nowhere near good lol :D, I like hacky-sack at times though.
I still like music though, I'm currently into Jazz, pop jazz, some classical...I can enjoy it, just not on the levels of some of you people.

Religion/beliefs: I've long been over this shit a long time ago, I don't despair about what comes after/what is, all anything is, is now. I don't mean to steal @Duxwing 's own statement, but I've overcome existential despair a while ago, don't even think about it anymore.

I never 'worry.' I honestly don't know what it feels like to 'worry.' Apparently that is overly common for ENTPs, idk why? Because the Ne sees the possibilities in EVERYTHING? even downsides, ergo I can see why we are optimists - we see the possibilities. Oh damn a tire blew out on the highway? maybe I'll meet the cool person who comes to get us, or a random person...Oh we're broke? get to live a new lifestyle, haha etc.
Note: this might be shared with INTPs: Anna Moss has a funny paragraph on her site oddlydevelopedtypes in which she says:

In a car in an accident that is about to happen, the car flips, and the INTP excitedly says "Oh, Wow! Death!" However everyone is ok and is abhorred at the INTP.

I laughed my ASS OFF at this, because I would do the exact same thing - not even kidding - I relate to it so well, so perhaps in an xNTP thing.

I used to procrastinate like a mofo, because I'd end up getting straight A's and 4.0 anyway regardless, but I do it less now simply because it causes way too much stress <- I like being as little stressed as possible.

I can be really introspective/introverted when I'm away from people. Even though I'm friendly and hang out with people, my overall mental attitude is that of a loner, a lone wolf. I psychoanalyze every person I see/meet everywhere anywhere 24/7, not always actively, sometimes passively (THANKS Ne!) lol. But I love it, and while I do love the hard sciences for understanding of the entire world/universe around us, I love understanding people even more.

I like my life.

I play guitar and use illegal substances. It took 20 posts until I mentioned my ex girlfriend, so what the hell, let's just pour out all the personal details like a mofo.

Where I live

I live in Jerusalem, Israel, in an apartment which is part of the house I grew up in, which we used to rent out, but now I live here. My dad and his Fiance live in the house.
I love this city, it's unlike any other city in so many ways, it's always interesting here.

Weather
Pretty much ideal, I'd say. In the summer it can get pretty hot, but it's never humid, and not as hot as most of the rest of the region. In the winter it gets cooler, hoodie over T-shirt type weather on average. It rains occasionally and snows every few years for a few hours.
There are natural springs in the mountains around Jerusalem, so people love going to them in the spring and summer, although by the summer they start getting kinda gross cause there isn't too much water flowing and lots of people.

Routine
I haven't really had any long term job or studies or anything yet, so the routine I'm going to describe is just the past six months since I came back from my last round of travelling, and it's ending again at the end of the month when I'm planning to go travel for a year or so.
I usually go to sleep around 11-12, get up around 5:45, get dressed and have breakfast and walk to work.
I start work at 7:00 and finish at 3:00. I work as a digger in an archaeological dig, the work is pretty interesting, and the people are great, I really really love the people I work with, so I have a lot of fun at work.
Sometimes after work I'll go out with friends from work for a beer or something, or just walk with one or more of them in the direction of their house (downtown, while I live in the other direction), because I like walking anyways, and I enjoy talking to them.
If I go home, I end up spending the afternoon in front of the computer doing nothing, occasionally posting here.
For some reason, all of my friends outside of work live in different cities, or are only in the city for the weekends, so I usually see around one or two of them a week for an afternoon or something. Occasionally on the weekend most of them gather in my apartment where we spend the weekend smoking weed, drinking, and playing Super Smash Bros. 64
All my friends are people I've handpicked over the years, whose company I greatly enjoy. However, I made the mistake of turning most of them into a group of friends, after which I realized that I really only enjoy them individually, one-on-one...

I really love the freedom I've discovered I have since I finished my army service, so all I really want to do is just travel the world and be bound to nothing and nobody and no time schedules. On the other hand I really want to start studying and developing all these ideas bouncing around my head. So the compromise I've come to is one more year of travelling and then I'll settle down and start the next chapter of my life (I'll be starting my first degree at 24 )

Where do you live (city, country, suburbs)

I live in a little city, in an appartment building that has two rooms, one kitchen, one bathroom and a few additional spaces that are not too important for this topic. I currently share this with my parents and my sister, all of us adults. I have never had a room for myself (I share a room with my sister and my mother, while my father sleeps in the other room).

what's the weather/climate usually like

Currently it's going to hell, like in any other place, I guess. Generally we can say that the summers are hot and the winters are cold, but there are places where summers are hotter and winters are colder, so I'm not complaining. I can say that we are in a pretty awesome zone: there are no floods, tornadoes or constant earthquakes around here. YET.

what time do you wake up

Since I don't have a job at the moment and I'm almost done with Uni, I generally wake up around 9 or 10 in the morning.

when do you go to sleep

Since I love to read in bed (mom got me a tablet just because I used to actually read on my minuscule phone under the duvet so I don't bother them while they sleep), I generally go to bed around 2-3 in the night. (Or should I say morning?)

what does your diet typically consist of

Since I wake up late I rarely ever have breakfast, so I eat lunch at about 11-12, which consists of soup and a second dish, sometimes even some dessert. I usually eat dinner when mom comes home from work, at around 7 in the evening, which consists of anything I am in the mood for - left overs from lunch, muesli, fruits, vegetables, a sandwich, scrambled eggs... whatever.

Also, sometimes I eat other stuff too in between these meals... like, not healthy things at all. And I hate exercising, and I'm fat.

what do you do during the day

I generally spend the "morning" with cooking lunch, and staring at my computer monitor if I don't have anything else to do (like classes, or recently running around, trying to get my papers in order for my move into another country). The afternoon goes on with me having lunch and staring at the computer monitor (again, if I don't have classes, or I don't have something else programmed, like attending to my "busy" social life- which usually ends up with me and one or two friends in either a cinema or a place where we can sit around, drink something and talk).

And my evenings are spent in front of the computer, or in rare cases having a party somewhere (VERY rare cases. Like, a once in a while birthday party or maybe Christmas and New Year's Eve).

do you have any pets

I don't have any pets reserved for me currently, tho our family has some fishes (my dad loves fishing), one single dwarf hamster by the name of Pumukli (Hungarian name version of Pumuckl), and a single budgie that goes by the name of Csipike (Which is the name of an imp, or dwarf or whatever in a Hungarian fairy tale - ex: Csipike, a gonosz törpe, which means, Csipike, the wicked dwarf)

Like any good vagrant I live here and there, off and on, moving back and forth between my parents (rural suburban 4.5 acres), my grandmother (rural 20 acres), my truck, a tent, and the empty houses and garages of dead folks. All are in southwest PA, in the same "continental" climate, as the border between the second green of C and middle blue of D . Currently rocking grandma's (76) along with my single mom of an aunt and her daughter (age 6?).

Each living arrangement has its own set of discomforts. Grouchy doofus assholes, noise, spatial restriction, neighbors, lack of utilities, mice, ideology. Sometimes I have a room, others a couch, others a floor, others a steering wheel in my crotch. I own little, and like it that way. Easy travel coupled with low risk of loss. No worries. Hakuna Mattata.

I get up, sleep, eat, and work largely at will. My sleep cycle is chaos in intervals anywhere from 0-18 hours long at any time of day or night. I eat what's available, which is a result of a combination of price as well as what others are willing to do for me. Diet fluctuates wildly from full family meals equipped with stuffed chicken and all trimmings to purely pinto beans or purely canned spinach, or whatever I find in the woods that day. I never, never never never, eat out.

I'm currently on an involuntary sabbatical, so "work" is varied. I clean out the estates of the dead and/or mortgage-victimized. I trade stocks. I buy at auctions and estate sales, and sell at flea markets, Ebay/Etsy/Craigslist. I admin here. I also fish and scrounge about for wild edibles/botanicals. I collect and sell scrap materials. I gamble. I've also started some freelance artistry. There are more, though the only solidly scheduled thing is that Sunday is flea market day.

I encounter a wide variety of people from all walks of life, most of whom are at the low end of the socioeconomic ladder. I have a younger sister (19, pre-vet, apparently sane) who lives with my parents along with her boyfriend, who both work on the local dairy farm. Younger brother (9, mini me, lovable yet undiagnosed semi-psychotic pain in the ass) ditto.

I might read a book or play a video game once in a while, but most of my "free time" is spent here or elsewhere online. I think, read, and partake in various acts of hedonism, legal or otherwise.

For the obligatory outdoor report....: It's summer here. Blueberries and strawberries are in, soon to be followed by raspberries, blackberries, and elderberries (in that order). Trout are still catchable, but walleye, panfish, and catfish are prime. Bass are biting but they taste too fishy. Ginseng, goldenseal, and snakeroot are just getting started as far as harvesting goes, though September is prime. Mushrooms of many varieties are popping up. Lamb's quarters, sorrel, and chickweed are delicious, but it's too late for ramps, and the dandelions are turning bitter. Groundhog hunting is picking up and they're getting fat on clover. :D

I also see people mentioning pets. Parent's house has 4 cats (2 overweight) and a dog (newfoundland, HUGE dog), Grandma has a white persian cat with a... slight problem being two-faced. Not physically two-faced, but "Pet me" --> "I'm gonna claw your fucking eyes out, bitch!" at the blink of an eye two-faced.

I used to have an ideal, but I've cast it away and am tentative to take on others as replacements. I'm content to go with the flow, which isn't to say that I wouldn't like to land in a more desirable spot compared to a less desirable one, but that I'm more selective in exerting effort to occupy a given preferred niche. I've discovered somewhat painfully that the scientific institution is entirely too structured and rife with misplaced values, and have become disenchanted with it. I'd like to become a high school science teacher, living a life of relative obscurity whilst avoiding the Peter Principle, but I'm not unhappy as a vagrant. Perhaps it equates to a lowered-the-bar entrepreneur? Freedom. I've got it.

Where do you live?

Southeastern suburbs in Melbourne.

What's the weather/climate usually like?

Winter it's about 10-20 degrees Celsius, Summer 30-40. Spring/Autumn can be anywhere from 15 - 35, usually closer to the 20-25 mark though. Rains pretty much always, except during summer.

What time do you wake up?

About 7-8am usually.

When do you go to sleep?

11-12pm is preferable.

What does your diet typically consist of?

Eggs, greek yoghurt, spaghetti. Various nuts, fruits and vegetables. I eat fish and chicken about once a week each, I rarely eat red meat. I drink water and various teas. I drink coffee if I'm on a long drive around dusk. I avoid soft drinks like the plague.

What do you do during the day?

I work shift work, so I often have time off during weekdays or finish early enough to still have a whole afternoon.

In that time I generally play drums, listen to music, read/research things I'm interested in, play video games and get groceries. In that order of preference I suppose. Although I'm generally listening to music regardless of what I'm doing, and I often end up just sitting around cuddling my cat when it demands my attention.

What do you do during the week at work?

I work. Not at work, but I've started playing in a men's basketball league at the local recreation centre. It's with a few work buddies and some other people I know.

On the weekend?

Spend time with my partner.

Do you have any pets?

A black cat with white, 'socks' named, 'Snowy'. Named her that because the white socks makes her look like she's been walking through snow. Five years old, DSH, very small, weighs about 3kg. Never sleeps anywhere at night that isn't my bed or somewhere next to me, I wake up most mornings to find her either sleeping on the pillow next to me with a paw on my cheek, or she's half wriggled underneath the blanket and is sleeping against (or on) my arm.

How much you do or don't enjoy your lifestyle, and then what would your ideal lifestyle be?

I enjoy it. Work is relatively interesting. Have made a few good friends there as well. I have ample free time to myself and I get enough time and money to pursue my creative streak.
